Jane Green trained as an architect. She ran her own company, Lind Associates, for 20 years before retiring in 2003. She returned recently to painting and other more diverse forms of art practice. These include photography, print making, assemblages and photo montages. She has a lively interest it the History of Modern Art. See also www.artandarch.co.uk

Her most recent work is an attempt to escape from the discipline of the rectangular/square frames of easel painting, and explore the effect that none traditional picture shapes have on composition.

Jane has exhibited at the RWA Autumn Exhibition, the City of Southampton Open, the Black Swan Arts, Frome, the St Barbes Summer Exhibition, Lymington, the Royal Bath and West Show, the Best of Hampshire Artists at Hillier Gardens, Romsey, and Mall Galleries, London.
